This years one of a kind virtual pageant came to an end yesterday. When the world stood still, my earth sisters and I didn’t. We all contributed to our local communities in different ways and raised global awareness about important environmental issues.⁣⁣

I was a little heartbroken I didn’t make the top 20 out of 84 incredible women from around the globe - my team and I worked so hard and gave everything we had. However, we respect the judges decision and I can confidently say that my dedication to the cause does not end here, the essence of Miss Earth will forever be in my heart.⁣⁣

I am so humbled that I was recognised by Carousel and Jewel Beauty Strong for my commitment to the environment and was awarded the title of Miss Earth 2020 Eco Angel. This means more to me than having an amazing pasarela walk or the flashiest production. I intend to take full advantage of this incredible opportunity to really inspire others, make a difference, follow in the footsteps of environmental greats and leave my mark on the earth⁣⁣
